Throwing a Link in the Face of Sony

January 28, 2011

Sony recently messed up their PS3 consoles.  Somehow they accidentally removed the ability to install other operating systems on their machines.  George Hotz found a way to fix the problem and published the methods, but Sony somehow isn’t fully appreciative – they are suing for publishing the “jailbreak” and attempting to supress the information on how to free your machine.

Here is a link to a site that discusses the issues and mirrors the jailbreak.
